Frequently Asked Questions

What is your normal turnaround time? Our typical turnaround time is 1 to 2 weeks. Between July 1st and August 20th it could take up to 3 or 4 weeks.  What if I need my order quicker than that? We can produce a limited number of rush orders without rush charges. Call to confirm.  We can do expedited shipping for an additional charge.

What is included in your prices? Preparation of art, layout, proofing, printing and standard UPS or USPS ground shipping. The envelopes (printed), your school’s name in the heading, your choice of dates and layout, or your customized layout. You can also add a logo, slogan or the school’s address and phone numbers in the heading without additional charges.  What is NOT included? Optional features such as back side printing, special event lines in the “Comments/Special Events” column, hole punching.

How is text in the “Comments/Special Events” column priced? Each event is $1.50 per line regardless of the quantity of envelopes ordered. For example, an order of 500 envelopes with 10 lines of events adds $14.00 to the total price of the order. The events you list can be holidays, fundraiser info, report card dates, or any other information that you want to highlight during a particular week in the school year.

I would like to customize my design. Can I do this? YES. You can add or delete a column, change the width or the row height at no additional charge. You can add foreign languages, sponsored advertisements, room for labels, etc.  Some design features may be charged additional fees. You can also send us your own print-ready design.  Please note: we must maintain “gripper” margins and cannot print to the edges of the envelope. After I order, when should I expect order confirmation and a proof to review? Before July, standard proofs will be sent within 2-3 business days, after July, standard proofs may take up to week for delivery.  Non-standard proofs that require custom design or many lines of “comments and events” will be within 5 – 7 business days. Once you receive your proof, CHECK FOR ERRORS! Check the cover page for the correct size, ink color and quantity. The second page is exactly what will be printed, so check for spelling errors, missing information, etc. Mark the errors and changes and then scan and email or fax it back to us.

What are your payment options? We accept VISA, MasterCard, checks and purchase orders. We can bill the school provided we have a billing contact and your account is in good standing.

Can I get delayed billing? Yes, if you request delayed billing, we can extend your payment due date to September 1st.
